  2. During the shooting of the 2018 comedy film Achari America Yatra (2018), in Malaysia, he had a near-fatal experience on the set. He had suffered serious injuries when he had hit his on-screen opponent with a helmet during a bike stunt scene.
  3. In October 2021, he had won the presidential election of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), defeating the veteran actor, film director, producer, TV presenter, and politician Prakash Raj.
