- Traditionally, taller wrestlers in WWE have had more success than smaller wrestlers. The likes of The Undertaker, Kane, Kevin Nash, and Big Show are some of the tallest wrestlers in WWE history and they are agile for men of their height. However, not all tall wrestlers have been successful. Giant Gonzalez's run in 1993 was brief and he feuded with The Undertaker before he was surplus to requirements. Furthermore, WWE's roster is a mixture of tall and short wrestlers with both getting equal opportunities. WWE's roster continuously evolves with some departing the company, and others moving from NXT to Raw or SmackDown in the 2023 draft lottery. The majority of tall wrestlers have a good look and have capitalized on the opportunities presented to them but some have fallen by the wayside.
WWE has often been seen as the land of the giants, with the company often pushing some very tall wrestlers over the years. The likes of Andre The Giant and Kane have been able to dominate in the main event scene, and even some of the more forgettable wrestlers such as Nathan Jones enjoyed a push due to the fact they were tall.
Nowadays, being a big person isn't crucial anymore, with smaller wrestlers such as Daniel Bryan and CM Punk breaking through the glass ceiling for others. However, in a sport where variety is key, there are still plenty of spots for tall talents, and the current roster has some huge male stars.
Updated on December 25th, 2021 by Tevon King: There's a big deal when tall wrestlers are competing in a WWE ring because their gigantic sizes make them look physically imposing. Unquestionably, there's a fascination when tall wrestlers appear but interest quickly wanes if they cannot wrestle. The Great Khali is a prime example of a tall man who was atrocious inside the ring. Nevertheless, the majority of tall wrestlers that have walked through the doors in WWE are exceptional in-ring performers. They have the ability to do things that men of their size shouldn't be able to do and some move like cruiserweights which is a testament to their ability. However, some of the tallest men that currently grace a WWE ring, are taller than many fans expect, and it's because of the sheer quality that they possess in the ring, which makes fans forget their height.

17 Jinder Mahal (6 Feet 5 Inches Tall)
Jinder Mahal isn't just one of the tallest wrestlers in WWE, he is also one of the most jacked wrestlers in the company. The Modern-Day Maharaja has certainly overachieved as he is a former WWE Champion, and he held the United States Championship briefly in 2018.
There's no doubt that Mahal has put the hard yards in but he isn't a great wrestler. Mahal is one of the most hated WWE Champions in WWE history, and despite not being technically sound, his movement is not languid inside the squared circle for a man at 6ft 5in.
16 Drew McIntyre (6 Feet 5 Inches Tall)
2021 started very well for Drew McIntyre as he started the year in his second reign as WWE Champion. The Scottish Psychopath featured prominently in the main event scene for half of the year before he's taken a backseat in major storylines in the latter half of the year.
McIntyre is a physical specimen, and he stands at 6 ft 5 inches tall. His height hasn't held him back by any stretch of the imagination, and he's one of the best in-ring workers on the roster. McIntyre featured in an outstanding Intercontinental Championship triple threat match with Gunther and Sheamus at WrestleMania 39 Sunday, but McIntyre's current contract situation in 2023 is up in the air.
15 Randy Orton (6 Feet 5 Inches Tall)
It's sometimes hard to believe that Randy Orton is only 43 years old, and he celebrated a special 20-year landmark with WWE in 2022. The Viper has continued to remain relevant, and he turned face once more and formed a successful tag team with Riddle as RK-Bro, and they are former two-time Raw Tag Team Champions.
Orton's height is a healthy 6ft 5in, and everyone knows that when Orton is motivated, there is no one better than him in the ring. The Apex Predator's devastating RKO has finished off his opponents emphatically, and it has always been a popular move for the fans to watch. Unfortunately, Orton has a severe back injury which kept him out of action for a year. It remains to be seen when the 14-time WWE World Champion will return to WWE programming.
14 Edge (6 Feet 5 Inches Tall)
Edge has been one of the tallest wrestlers in WWE throughout his entire career with the company, standing at 6ft 5in, he is very tall. The height of the Rated-R Superstar often gets overlooked at times in comparison to others, which could be down to how many people he's faced that are much bigger than him, such as The Undertaker.
However, Edge is one of the tallest people in the company and when he works with someone smaller than him, then it becomes very clear just how tall he is. But he has always been technically sounded inside the ring, and that is something that is another reason people have overlooked his height.
13 Angelo Dawkins (6 Feet 5 Inches Tall)
Angelo Dawkins is another wrestler that stands at 6ft 5in, being one of the tallest people in the company right now, and he has an edge over his Street Profits partner, Montez Ford. He is slightly taller than his tag team partner, and that is clear inside the ring.
However, although he is very tall, that doesn't stop him from being incredibly agile and fast in the ring. He brings tons of energy with his wrestling and that is why Dawkins has had so much success, bringing great pace for someone so tall.
12 Odyssey Jones (6 Feet 5 Inches Tall)
Odyssey Jones was hired by WWE in 2019 and he is not even 30 years of age. His WWE career has been stop and start with injuries and undertaking a hiatus to heal his injuries. Jones has the potential to be a future star and he was drafted from NXT to Raw in the 2023 WWE Draft Lottery.
Jones stands at 6 feet 5 inches tall and he is extremely athletic with a college football background. Moving to Raw is a huge step in his development, and Jones will be hoping to make an impact on the red brand.
11 Titus O'Neil (6 Feet 6 Inches Tall)
Because Titus O'Neil isn't used on television very often, some fans might forget just how tall he is at times. However, the WrestleMania 36 host is one of the biggest members of the men's roster right now, and that is something that has helped him throughout his career.
Titus brings a lot of power within his matches, and being quite a tall wrestler has helped make that work. It's a surprise Vince McMahon doesn't use him more because of his height, as this is something that he typically likes to push a lot.
10 Dijak (6 Feet 7 Inches Tall)
Dijak was brought into WWE as a dominant monster, and a lot of that was down to his height. Because he's such a tall wrestler, Dijak was able to look physically imposing against everybody, and if the company booked Retribution well, that would have worked when he was T-Bar.
However, one of the reasons that Dijak is such a brilliant wrestler is the fact that can move around the ring with great agility. He can hit high-flying moves that people as tall as him typically cannot do, and that has helped him get over throughout his career in wrestling.
Dijak has a renewed lease of life back in NXT and he feuded with Wes Lee over the NXT North American Championship. When booked correctly, Dijak can be a force to be reckoned with, and a championship reign should be something that Dijak strives for.
9 Ma.ce (6 Feet 7 Inches Tall)
Another member of Retribution that became one of the tallest members of the WWE roster was Mace. Because he was placed alongside T-Bar as a tag team, it became very clear what the company was trying to do, having two tall wrestlers together to put fear into others.
Mace is a lot greener than T-Bar, and that was clear inside the ring. However, because of his height, he was able to work perfectly as a powerhouse, and that is something that should continue to serve him well as he gains more experience.
Mace has undergone several changes throughout his WWE career, and in the summer of 2022, he was repackaged as Ma.ce as a member of the Maximum Male Models. Mansoor has been his tag team partner with Maxxine Dupri as their manager. He has become a laughing stock among the Maximum Male Models but if Ma.ce was taken seriously, he could have had a successful WWE career.
8 Damian Priest (6 Feet 7 Inches Tall)
Damian Priest is a fantastic wrestler, and being one of the tallest members of the roster certainly hasn't hurt him. Priest has a unique style where he can brawl and bring a powerhouse style to things because of how tall he is. Yet at the same time, he has an amazing striking ability which is fun to watch.
Priest normally dominates his opponents when it comes to height, and it does help him to stand out, which is one of the reasons he has thrived so much since joining the main roster. Priest joined the Judgment Day at WrestleMania 38 when he sided with Edge, and it's been one of the best things to happen to his WWE career. Priest has been an imposing heel working alongside Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley. He should have main evented Backlash 2023 in his native Puerto Rico against Bad Bunny but it wasn't meant to be with Priest producing an outstanding performance.
7 Baron Corbin (6 Feet 8 Inches Tall)
Baron Corbin has a slight advantage over Damian Priest, and he is certainly one of the tallest people in the company. Corbin uses his height perfectly inside the ring, dominating his matches and bringing in the powerhouse style.
However, Corbin doesn't just rely on his height to see him through. He has been able to work brilliantly with creating characters and the fact he's had so many varied gimmicks showcases that he is just as capable of being an entertainer as he is a wrestler.
6 Sanga (6 Feet 8 Inches Tall)
Sanga has a great look at 6ft 8in, and he is a member of Indus Sher alongside the former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and Veer Manahan. He was the bodyguard of Grayson Waller briefly, but their alliance was short-lived with Waller seeing off his former acquaintance.
In the 2023 WWE Draft Lottery, Sanga was drafted from NXT to Raw with Mahal and Manahan. Being a part of Raw will be a massive opportunity for Sanga to get the chance to showcase his skills on the longest weekly episodic show in history.
5 Luke Gallows (6 Feet 8 Inches Tall)
Luke Gallows made a shocking return to WWE programming in October 2022 alongside Karl Anderson. The O.C. was reunited once more with AJ Styles and the addition of Michin. Gallows stands at a healthy 6ft 8in, and he moves exceptionally well for a man of his height.
Unfortunately, the Phenomenal One sustained an injury in early 2023 which halted the momentum of Gallows and Anderson. Gallows is a former two-time Raw Tag Team Champion alongside Anderson, and they will be hoping to gain some momentum as they have been drafted from Raw to SmackDown.
4 Braun Strowman (6 Feet 8 Inches Tall)
Braun Strowman was a shocking casualty that was released from WWE in June 2021, considering he was involved in a battle over the WWE Championship with Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. The Monster Among Men returned to WWE in September 2022, and he was in great shape by looking leaner.
Strowman stands at 6ft 8in, and the former Universal Champion has been teaming up with Ricochet. Their partnership works, but Strowman would like to find himself back in World Championship contention.
3 Commander Azeez (6 Feet 9 Inches Tall)
Commander Azeez made his presence known at WrestleMania 37 when he attacked Big E, pairing himself with Apollo Crews in the process. He instantly caught the attention of the WWE Universe because of the fact he is such a huge man.
Commander Azeez is a major presence and considering he is almost 7 feet tall, it is no surprise that he is one of the tallest men on the roster. He can look down and dominate the vast majority of wrestlers, and his height will certainly stand him in good stead.
Commander Azeez was sent to NXT in 2022 alongside Apollo Crews. However, their alliance was no more when Azeez attacked Crews after he lost to Carmelo Hayes at Vengeance Day.
2 Shanky (7 Feet 1 Inch Tall)
Shanky is another one of WWE's newer wrestlers, having been brought onto the roster to work with Jinder Mahal. Even though the former WWE Champion is a tall wrestler himself, Shanky can stand above him as he has real height.
Standing at over 7 feet makes him one of the tallest wrestlers in WWE history, and that in itself is something that will get people talking. While he still has a long way to go in terms of making a name for himself, his height makes people notice him instantly.
1 Omos (7 Feet 3 Inches Tall)
Omos is a giant wrestler and is easily the tallest member of the WWE roster. Fans have instantly gravitated towards him, simply being wowed by his huge height and that has allowed him to dominate people inside the ring with some physically impressive spots.
WWE's decision to pair him up with AJ Styles has only enhanced his height due to AJ being small, and that has made Omos look even larger. Vince McMahon is well known for being a big fan of people who are this big, which is why he has such huge potential.
The Nigerian Giant has been fortunate to be feuding with a plethora of former World Champions. He registered a win over two-time WWE Champion Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash 2022, and a year later, he was involved in a feud with Brock Lesnar. They battled in the curtain-raiser at WrestleMania 39 Sunday with the Beast Incarnate getting the win. Arguably, the best match in Omos' career came at Backlash 2023 against Seth Rollins with the Visionary battling past Omos.
